In addition, it is also a common support for making screens, movable partitions or for building wall coverings. Its hardness, strength and durability make it an essential option when fitting out spaces.

One of its advantages is the ease with which it can imitate other types of materials or supports. For example, it replaces wood with different finishes and also plastic. At DESMON we have different types of melamine finishes.

The first proposal of the new melamine finishes is the Rustik Nature model. In this case, the DESMON design department has developed a piece that is very similar to wood.

The tone is a light brown and the surface offers a textured finish. The design incorporates a large number of veins and knots that further increase the resemblance to wood. Obviusly, the finish extends over both sides of the board.

It has a very high aesthetic value and can be installed with the grain running vertically or horizontally. It is common to place pieces of furniture with this melamine finish in management offices or boardrooms. The reason is that the tone and texture convey serenity and moderation.

In addition to furniture parts, this Rustik Nature finish is often used in the construction of movable partitions. The board provides a high level of sound insulation, which gives the newly created room a sense of intimacy. In addition, the rock wool that is placed on the inside further increases the good sound insulation of the room.

The panels with Rustik Nature finish are machined on aluminium rails and the movable partitions are easy to move. Once extended, the result is an elegant and at the same time robust wooden wall.

The second option we present is the Anthracite Soft melamine finish. For this piece we have opted for a very elegant and timeless design. These are boards with a similar finish on both sides.

The surface has a roughness that is smooth and pleasant to the touch. Another interesting factor is the chosen tone. We have opted for an anthracite colour close to black. The result is very elegant and easy to combine with other pieces.

This finish is presented without streaks or knots and the colour is uniform throughout the surface. DESMON recommends its use on shelves and coffee tables in reception and waiting areas.

Another interesting possibility is to manufacture dividing partitions with this melamine finish. Dark tones always add a very interesting touch of exclusivity and sophistication. The screens can be designed by combining the dark colour with glass windows or doors. In this way, the style provided by the anthracite colour is maintained with the visibility of the glass. It is also possible to include the finish in single-panel screens with an exposed aluminium structure.

The colour black is always a classic and appears regularly in the latest trends in office decoration. For this reason, they are frequently found in corporate offices, top executive offices or in training rooms.

The cleaning of the surface, as in all the finishes, is simple and the anthracite black colour is always maintained with the same intensity.

The third melamine finish option is the Eco Nature design. In this case, we are faithful to the look of wood. The colour is dark brown and the board has the presence of subtle and delicate knots.

Here, too, the surface is minimally textured and very smooth to the touch. Again, the finish is similar on both sides of the board.

• Ceniza grab (Ash grab). Melamine finish with a dark grey tone and a more pronounced texture. The tone is very elegant and perfect for bespoke furniture. It is also a common colour in the manufacture of movable partitions.
• Blanco soft (Soft white). The colour white is always a winning horse in melamine tabletops. It conveys a clean feeling and is very useful for kitchen or bathroom cabinet interiors.
• Maple Poro (Maple Poro). In this case, we are talking about a light brown finish. It is the usual resource for making shelves or drawer units. It is also very common to manufacture single-panel screens or screens with glass in this tone. It is a very easy colour to combine and very decorative.
  Salvia Liso (Plain Sage). This model is finished in a light beige colour. It undoubtedly enhances the brightness of the area as it is a neutral tone. The surface of the tabletop is smooth and works very well on tables and counters.
• Gris Soft (Soft Grey). The last option available is the light grey melamine finish. It tends to be a common corporate shade and is present on tabletops and bars in breakout areas.
