There is no one better than your employees to know the needs involved in the task they perform. It is essential to take their opinion into account because it is the best source of information.

It is important that you know what the work groups are and how many people are in them. That way, you will be able to distribute the space and you will know when it is necessary to limit areas. It is also useful to know if meetings are held often and how many people usually attend. That way you will know if a table next to the desk is enough or if you need a larger meeting room.

Finally, find out how many people use the breakout areas and how many stay for lunch in the company’s office. This will make it easier to choose rooms with sufficient capacity and comfortable furniture.

DESMON always recommends the use of L-shaped desks for several reasons. Firstly, because they offer enough space for computers, tablets or laptops on the main desk. Secondly, because the adjoining wing can be equipped with several chairs for short work meetings with a small number of people.

If privacy needs to be further enhanced, you can opt for some kind of office partition.

Breakout areas are becoming more and more common in offices. They provide a space where workers can rest, have a coffee or even a midday meal.

Versatility is very important in these areas, that is, being able to transform the space easily. For this purpose, DESMON always recommends the use of lightweight armchairs that can be moved effortlessly and tables with wheels that can be moved around. Stools and bars can also be placed to allow even more relaxed work meetings.

Finally, for adapt office space, we would like to emphasise the installation of sanitary cabins made of phenolic material. The pandemic made the importance of total hygiene very clear and the service areas are spaces that are visited several times a day by many people.

The phenolic material is completely smooth, with no gaps or crevices. No bacteria can lodge on the surface. In addition, it resists impacts and even vandalism. And another very interesting factor is that it can be easily cleaned and disinfected with a single wipe.

Finally, sanitary cabins are very easy to assemble and do not require expensive building work. They are comfortably sized and offer total privacy.
